# What is this I first saw a spout in my elephant ear then as I was…

What is this I first saw a spout in my elephant ear then as I was looking more saw a few in one of my Monstera’s, banana trees, and green princess. They are not all right next too each other but most all of them have recently been repotted with a homemade chunky mix soil using horticulture charcoal \& pumice, orchid bark, worm castings, and some miracle grow.  
Should I be concerned?

Not at all I have those too. It’s probably just some seeds that came in through an open window or got into the soil some other way.

They are totally harmless but it is good to pull them out like you did.
