# Hi, new to Planta. My bedroom plants face a balcony door that stays…

Hi, new to Planta. My bedroom plants face a balcony door that stays open (with a flyscreen door). The door faces North so doesn’t get any direct sun in Sydney but gets plenty of indirect sun. Which planta light option should I pick Shade or Part sun? I am confused because part sun says ”direct sun” and there is no in between option?

Does it get bright enough to cast some shadow? That’s usually how I decide between the two.
