# So my echeveria has a couple of shriveled leaves on the bottom, but I…

So my echeveria has a couple of shriveled leaves on the bottom, but I read this might be a normal re absorption of the leaves. Other than a couple of new shriveled leaves on the bottom the rest of the plant looks healthy. I also just learned how to water and care for them correctly and have been keeping it pretty dry and watered it well a few days ago. So is my plant ok?

It looks really good to me! I’d just recommend trying to touch it as little as possible so the farina can stay intact! Looks like it’s getting enough light, if the new leaves start looking even the tiniest bit etoliated I’d recommend a grow light.

She beautiful! No worries. Cactus drinks from the bottom so it normal for the bottom leaves to shrivel up as the top leaves are drinking from the bottom leaves like water balloons. The soil must be super dry before you decide to water them again.
