I’m a neophyte horticulturalist 🌱 and just getting started on my plant journey. I’ve recently become interested in large prayer plants—especially Calathea Majestica (“White Star”)—and I’d love to learn how to grow them successfully.

👉 If you have one (or any prayer plant), could you please:

\* 📸 Share a picture of your plant  
\* 🌿 Describe your care routine  
\* 💧 Watering schedule, light conditions, humidity setup  
\* 🪴 Any tips or lessons learned

I’m especially interested in indoor setups and what’s working for you.

my Rattlesnake Calathea. Its in the bathroom for higher humidity. RO water only no tap. Doesn’t grow much though.

Honestly if you are just starting out then consider holding off on some of the pickier divas till you get your… soil legs? 😅 Calatheas are notoriously dramatic, needy and picky! That said, do you! Just know it might be an uphill battle but I wish you luck!

If one dies (and these are a group of divas) they are also famous for coming back to life (zombie divas!) so don’t give up hope!
