# I recently found a love for houseplants when my best friend gifted me…

I recently found a love for houseplants when my best friend gifted me a propagated spider plant from her home as a house warming gift to me. The first photo is of her when she was gifted to me … the second was taken today. My question for all you plant parents out there is how do I encourage her to grow thicker/fuller? I feel like she is looking very lanky but maybe this is normal?

If you prune those pups, the plant will be able to devote more energy to its own leaves.

How long between the two photos? I got a pup last spring and I can’t wait for it to get big like yours!
