# I just got a plumeria cutting and I want to make sure I set it up for…

I just got a plumeria cutting and I want to make sure I set it up for success . It’s still too cold here in the Midwest to bring it outside I think? What is the best thing to do for a cutting so it starts getting roots ? I’ll take any advice on care, soil and any other tips !

I grew a cutting of that years ago, I’m in Florida (so it loved the climate) not sure what I did to make it go as well as it did…?

Maybe a more sandy soil is better than what I see here…?
