# I cut off a new bud that was growing because I didn’t want the plant…

I cut off a new bud that was growing because I didn’t want the plant diverting its energy to it as healthy as the other flower shoot and plant is doing but I’ve noticed some mouldy stuff around wheee I cut. What should I do… leave it or try wipe it off with a cotton bud, could it be a bug nest because maybe that’s good as he can eat them

It does look like a fungus. I think I would use some cinnamon or neem oil on a Qtip swab and then increase its airflow with a little fan. I know those are safe for flytraps and I personally freak when I see them not looking their best 😳
