The flytraps I got from Walmart a few weeks back are producing a tonnnnn of tiny traps. I think I noticed an entirely separate plant. What do you think? Does it look like a separate plant? These are my first flytraps.

If they are in fact separate traps, you’re supposed to wait until dormancy to repot them right?

Edit: the pink pick is another flytrap that seems to be swarming with little traps.

Venus fly traps often duplicate it’s just how they grow. You don’t have to pot them separately if you don’t want but if you do want to you’ll have to separate the rhizomes (root balls) there is plenty of videos on YouTube on how to do that and how to know they are separate plants. Probably wait for dormancy though so it doesn’t shock them. Good luck and have a nice day!
