Hi team carnivorous 👋
I’m brand new to the bug eater club \& was advised to plant my little babies in a 50/50 mix of Sphagnum \& Perlite.
So I started the process of repotting today as my new babies are in a simple peat mix which seems very heavy \& borderline stodgy.

My question is regarding the live sphagnum mix I bought. Do I need to pick out all the little brown twig/pine needle looking bits so it’s just the green sphagnum going into the perlite mix or should I chuck it all in as is?

Thanks in advance 🙏

These are VFT seeds? You can leave it as is

Sorry I probably wasn’t clear, the bits bottom right are what I picked out of the sphagnum, I’m repotting young adult plants
