# hello everyone, meet twinky—my first carnivorous plant.. i’ve had her…

_Posted by loree on 2023-08-29_

hello everyone, meet twinky—my first carnivorous plant.. i’ve had her for about two weeks now and yesterday i moved her to a new pot and switched her over to a new potting mix. the place i got her from had her in some soil with small pieces of perlite and bark and i replanted her in a mixture of equal parts sphagnum moss, perlite, and orchid bark. i also removed some yellow/wilting leaves (already like that when i got her)
since being repotted one of her pitchers has squeezed shut! i’m a little nervous because i really want her to thrive.. she’s gotten water recently and i also mist her a few times a day. is this just her adjusting to being repotted or is there a problem i need to address? any advice is appreciated

Definitely not enough light or humidity, try a cheap led grow light and a table humidifier
