# Heyo just was wondering on one question, I just got a Venus flytrap…

Heyo just was wondering on one question, I just got a Venus flytrap and it’s extremely healthy but I only have a north facing window in my bedroom. Can flytraps survive on lower light or should I transport it to my other rooms to stay as healthy as it is?

I definitely wouldn’t recommend keeping it in a north facing window, but I’m sure other people have more experience with them. In general, I think carnivorous plants prefer very bright light.

They need a ton of light. Direct sun best.
