What’s that?

I’m not sure what I’m looking at but I decided to post the photos here so I don’t forget to watch it. Anne’s photo was updated and these are magnified close ups. It looks like something extra is growing on the top. I’m probably overthinking and it’s just the natural surface. But I’m watching it closely.

She was just repotted a few weeks ago.

At this point it could be mineral buildup in the soil, mold, or flowerpot parasol. I'm betting on the parasol. If it is that, it'll develop into a yellowy white fluff across the entire soil, and eventually into a mushroom. It's harmless to the plants, but if you have pets you should make sure they don't eat it

That sounds pretty icky!

Ok I think it’s parasols. It looks just like it and it makes sense; that plant gets lots of light on its vines but none on the surface of the soil.
