I have a peace lily as well and find she does better if I don’t let her dry out. Peace lilies need consistently moist soil, but they also don't like to sit in standing water. It can be a delicate balance to strike. When the top inch or two of soil is dry, that’s when I know it’s time to water. Watch her leaves too, my girl goes droopy if I’m late watering but she perks right up after a good soaking. Wishing you luck and patience! Getting to know our plant’s needs can be a process but hang in there!

Same thing happened with mine, and I read that it could be not enough humidity in the area as well. So it was suggested that I mist the leaves once or twice a week with a spray bottle. It’s been working so far but I did cut the dried up flower to avoid it taking energy from the other leaves and flowers.

Did you use scissors to snip of the flower end or did you completely remove the stem of the flower? And I may start doing that once a week as I don’t think the humidity in my room is that high. Thank you !

I used a scissors to cut the flower end, and left the stem. This is how it looks now, but its still firm…we’ll see what happens.
