Hi everyone! I ordered an Areca Palm (or Bamboo Palm) online and I suspect it will arrive soon in the next few days. My only question is; is there anything I should know before I receive it? Thanks. When it arrives I will send a picture of it. 🌿

They are prone to bugs so make sure you spray it often with cleaner or pesticide. I’m obsessed with mine but I’ve had to keep a close eye on it since last time it had mealys

Generally basic new plant intro... inspect, spray with pesticide and let them sit in the sink over night. Inspect again in the morning. And then Quarantine for a month
