Hello my inch plant people, I’ve got a question. So recently my hanging Boston fern had fell onto my inch plant I’d say about 2 weeks ago. I allowed it isolate, and then added it back to its corner. But I honestly can’t tell if this leaf damage from being crushed.. or pests. Can anyone let me know? I’m a new plant parent. I don’t see any webbing or anything moving; but like I said I’m a new planter. I don’t have a clue in the world..

It looks like those are just spots from it being crushed. I don’t see any evidence of bugs! Just keep a close eye on it. 💚

Looks very similar to the damage mine received from my cats knocking it over—thrice—plus there might have been an edge that stayed wet too long.

If you’re not seeing any other signs of pests, I would agree this is most likely damage from the fall.
