# PLEASE HELP! Dr Planta said that I was under watering and I believe…

PLEASE HELP! Dr Planta said that I was under watering and I believe that was correct, it’s been a week since I watered him and he’s still moist but I drained him and the leaves are still crisping up. Any suggestions?

Does the pot have drainage and is it near a heating vent?

It is close to the vent, do you think I could get away with closing the vent or changing the angle?

You may try changing the angle, possibly put some pebbles and water in the lower tray if that’s what I’m seeing on the floor. Planta might suggest misting him about twice a week to keep the humidity up, but you will need to cut away/remove that dead stem.
