I tried to grow mimosa pudica from seed TWICE and they never germinated despite planting half the bag of seeds each time. So I gave up and mixed the old seed starting mix into my soil mix. LO AND BEHOLD! What do I find while watering my potato baskets?

A sensitive plant. More like a STUBBORN plant. I had to touch it to make sure I knew what I was seeing.

And of course he was rooted DEEP so I only got one viable root when I \*carefully\* pulled him out so now he’s propagating in a shot glass with rooting hormone in my plant rehab to think about what he’s done.
