# What do you all think about self-watering pots for African Violets?…

_Geplaatst door Kelly op 2025-01-03_

What do you all think about self-watering pots for African Violets? The ceramic type that supposedly only absorbs what it needs. Anyone had success using one? If so, do you keep it full of water all the time or only put in a bit on watering days?

I know the place I got my 2 violets from bottom water, the pots came with wicks. So I think they were in trays. But they also talked about letting them dry out. So I'm not sure it'd be to wet
