Is it time to repot my rattlesnake plant?

I got it two months ago and it’s done great! Tons of new leaves have unfurled. The nursery pot it’s in feels very stiff, a few roots are coming out of the bottom, and water drains through too quickly so I thought I should repot. However, when I looked it up, many people said you should only repot in early spring before it starts it’s growth cycle (it’s already in its growth cycle now). Any thoughts appreciated , thanks!

Me personally, I’d go ahead and repot before it gets hotter outside. That way the root system can have plenty of room to expand while in growing season ☺️
