I need some more help. 😬 My string of dolphins has lost two other strands, I tried to water propagate, and propagate in soil, but both died. I have one strand left, and I really don’t want to loose it. It’s under a grow light for 12 hours a day. It’s always a little squishy and wilted. I have put the last string in the soil in hopes the pieces would propagate, but I haven’t had any luck with that. It was in a pot with no drainage and I think it wasn’t getting enough light and too much water. It has been in this pot for a while now. The roots were okay when I looked. I don’t know what else to do. Any advice appreciated.

Also maybe pin down the remaining string (I broke a paper clip in half) and mist the top every so often, just a suggestion that’s how I got mine to root

This is the pot it’s in now, I tried to pin it down with paper clips, but it wouldn’t hold…

Circle it in the pot like you did before. All of those little “knot” looking things on the stem CAN produce roots

Okay, any tips on how to fasten it down? I tried paper clips but it wouldn’t hold it down

I used Bobby pins, the wide ones used for buns \& stuff. One time burried a pothos vine \& just left the leaves out for photosynthesizing
