Does anyone know if there is a way to add an extra upkeep item into the app? I spray some of my plants with a neem oil \& water solution every ten days or so and I'd like to add it into the care section but don't see a way how to add custom items...

You could probably add it as a cleaning task. I would love custom activities too - probably good to put that into the app feedback group as a suggestion :)

Go to your plant > click the + button > click More options > click Clean
