does anyone know what this is? is it mold? it started growing in my philodendron plant. i put systemic houseplant insect control in it last week, could that have anything to do with it??

It does look like mold. I would just rough up the soil and sprinkle cinnamon on top of the soil. If it’s mold, that should do ya’. 😊💚🪴

i think it’s probably the systemic insect control. i’ve heard they can develop like this. it’s not harmful
