# Hello everyone my daughter just got me a Golden Pothos and it…

Hello everyone my daughter just got me a Golden Pothos and it beautiful but it has a wick. And the roots are growing out the bottom is it time to repot it? And what is the wick for? And can I repot without the wick?

The sting is a type of “self watering” I’ve re-potted and removed before

i would repot if the roots are ccoming out of the bottom

Yes repot it. Just one size up from what it is in. If you like to water from bottom the wick is perfect but if you hang it then take it out. The wick is for self watering pots. I use them all the time it’s easier to me.

I’m using the wick for now until I get another slightly bigger pot and some more potting soil, thank you for the advice 🤗🌸💐🌷🪴
