I flipped it over to find this, I swear it looks like the top and I just had it upside down, but I’ve never had one of these so I have no clue. Any advice I’d appreciate! Thanks! I see, and after I posted that I thought it was probably a bad idea to take it out of the pot just so you could take a picture, my bad. I still think it's the top. ### Wolfen 🐺님이 2025-03-08에 댓글을 남겼어요. Caudex can be confusing, they will put out leaves before re-rooting sometimes. With stephania there should be a top side that has one sort of node (those can look like a flat spot or nipple like), and the bottom will be more smooth or have several small growth areas dispersed that roots were growing from before it was trimmed and hibernated.
