Hello! I am a new plant mom and this is my first peace Lilly! I’ve been wanting one and took this one from my great grandmas funeral. However her leaves don’t look the best, how do I fix this and how do I take care of her!!

Hi! I love peace lily’s and have a few! I have experienced them having this problem before but it’s nothing serious! My peace lily’s will get this way a few times a year due to the change in weather. It’s nothing serious just simply snip of the leaf and water it whenever the soil is dry but keep in mind all peace lily’s are different!

If it’s a watering issue, I’ve heard semi hydro setups (leca, clay balls…) work well for peace lilies!! Ive never owned a peace lily, but have had great success with alocasias in semi hydro!

If you do switch to semi hydro, be patient while your plant gets water roots! Water roots and soil roots are different, so don’t be scared if you lose some original roots :)

Also if you don’t know already just as a warning peace lily’s are toxic to dogs and cats. I have my own animals and I have had to put them in a separate room completely away from the peace lily. Although peace lily’s are very nice to have! Also I have one peace lily that likes little light (even though the app says it needs more light than what I give it) and it thrives in that while some of my other ones like the brightness.
