# Anyone grown strawberries before that could give me advice? My indoor…

_Posted by Kayde on 2024-07-31_

Anyone grown strawberries before that could give me advice? My indoor strawberry plants are doing really well, but I have 2 concerns:

1\. Why are some of the leave tips going brown/yellow? It’s only a few leaves on each plant but I’m wondering why that is? They seem healthy otherwise…

2\. Is it normal for strawberries to be weird shaped? A few of them are coming through rather elongated🤣 unsure if it’s normal or not?

For more info, I water them twice a week as they’re on a south facing windowsill so get quite a bit of sun, and I give them plant food every 2 weeks. I’m currently just using all purpose plant food (for both flowers and veg) so I’m wondering if I could do with a better one?

I have strawberries too! I dont know about the miscoloration, but I know that strawberries trail to reproduce so that’s normal

The discoloration could be from overwatering. I also can’t tell if those pots have attatched drain trays or jot but they do need proper drainage. Have a scheduled fertilize will help them as well.
