I just got this bird of paradise from Facebook marketplace it’s a little beat up and droopy. I repotted it watered it (it was bone dry) and gave it some fertilizer.

This is my first bird of paradise does anybody have any tips to make it not droopy and to overall improve the health? Thanks!

Don’t mind the peace lily at the bottom I put them together because I thought it would look pretty 😊

I would recommend giving it bright light. I have a smaller white bird of paradise that I used to keep India but it didn’t grow much so I moved it outside and it’s grown 2 leaves in 1 month.

If you do decide to more it to a brighter location make the change gradually so it doesn’t burn your plant.
