# I got back from a trip and my sweet potato vine plant got spider…

I got back from a trip and my sweet potato vine plant got spider mites while a friend was taking care. I was quick to treat it so I didn’t get any pics, but a bunch of the leaves turned brown and crispy. Will these ever recover or should I chop those leafs off and let the branch regrow. It looks like there is a tiny leaflet already growing from every existing leaf node.

Also I rinsed off really well, and then spray a little mixture of rubbing alcohol, neem oil, dish soap, and lotta water. Is there anything else I should do besides reapply in a few days?

My basil got it too but I’m less concerned about that. Thanks for the help :D
