# I get asked many times how I take care of my plants. I follow 3 rules…

I get asked many times how I take care of my plants.  
I follow 3 rules for all my plants.  
Pot size- Doesn’t matter how big the plant is. Root size to pot size. Not plant size to pot size.  
Soil- Chunky mix. Orchid bark and coco chips always in any mix I make. Roots like air and like to be able to freely grow through the air pockets.  
Repot- I almost never repot. Unless the pot breaks or roots take in water too quick.  
These 3 steps for me makes my plants push out new growth continuously without a pause.  
Everyone lives in different climates so what works for me might not work for you.  
But I think these 3 simple steps are common throughout.

This 100%! I've noticed a huge difference just from switching to a chunky soil mix. My plants are much happier now
