1\. I don’t know which fertilizer is “ best”, but I use Miracle-Gro plant food (liquid and powder)

2\. If you want to separate without out ripping roots, I would suggest removing the dirt from the roots so you can see and separate root by root carefully. You could also just give them more space by going up in a nursery pot size. I have a mixed pot of like 4-5 different Pothos variations ✨🪴

GT Foliage Focus is a highly rated liquid fertilizer. Another is Foliage Pro

This one has worked great for me. A few pumps into a gallon of distilled water that I use to water my picky plants!

The “best” fertilizer is one that has the NPK ratio you need for the specific plant using ingredients available to the plant, and with all the micronutrients needed. I personally use something called superthrive or something like that for all of my foliage, and then anything fruiting or flowering I use a general 10-10-10 with added micronutrients.
You’ll probably have to keep the pothos together and just increase the pot size, trim them down, or risk breaking off a decent amount of roots while separating them. I have all my pothos co-planted with a different pothos and plan to always leave mine co-planted so I’m fine with just upsizing when needed b

I was using grow queen liquid fertilizer. It includes kelp and seaweed. It’s a really good fertilizer. However, it’s expensive now that I’m moving towards having 200 plants. So I switched to a 10-10-10 that I found on amazon
