# The first picture is what I got yesterday that my mom has been…

_Publicado por Vivian’s plants el 2025-03-02_

The first picture is what I got yesterday that my mom has been helping me to get a good start from one of the babies from the original from my grandma. Iris is a silver inch plant. The 2nd photo was Iris at the lowest point and the next one Iris in recovery. The last one is one of Iris at its peak I think; she used to have multiple blooms at one point. I’m nervous about having her again so any tips would be appreciated.

With the wandering jew and many other hanging plants you need to regularly trim the longer growths to stimulate lateral branching and Central growth so the pot does not become thin in the middle.

When they get long I pinch off a piece of it and put it directly into the dirt of the plant , I also have propagated in water and that did great too 🥰☮️
