# Hello plant community and friends, I’m super new to the plant world…

Hello plant community and friends, I’m super new to the plant world but I’m loving it so far. I have an Inch plant, Boston fern, Asparagus Fern, Syngonium, Umbrella Plant, \& Golden Pathos \& A dragon tree ( in the photo the asparagus is under the Boston \& umbrella fonds ) I’m going for a tropical climate area. Just let me know if this looks about right, it’s densely packed. Also, does heartleaf propagate? And how long? \& This is a west facing window with a tree in front usually. And I’m a teenage boy, ignore the mediocre set up.

Looks wonderful, you’ll learn so much and fast! I have a Boston fern and I’ve been learning plants for 1 year. My Boston love’s humidity and lots of water. You’ll slowly get everything you need and like just enjoy the plant journey! Heart leaf philodendrons propagate and so do pothos not sure about your other plants

Also the more light the better so you could wven open the blinds if you’d like shouldn’t bother your plants especially in winter. But looks like the window gives a decent amount of light. And with the compact arrangement make sure some airflow is allowed to decrease chances of root rot.

I just propagated a shoot from a heart leaf. They take forever to start getting roots but you can do it! The one to the left is the heart leaf. It’s been in this container for a few months now.

Wow a few months? Longer than expected, do you recommend any fast growing propagating plants?

Nice to know there's some other teens on here who like plants as mush as I do! Love your set-up, and beware inch plants grow quite fast

There’s quite a few on here genuinely, and my inch plant is going through some ups and downs, it took a fall cause of my dog the other day. Hopefully it stabilizes 🤷‍♂️
