What are some plants that can survive in low light? I’m adding some to my bedroom and investing in grow lights.

when people say low light, its a lot more light than you imagine, I learned that that hard way but I bet if you post a picture of the location you want your plants in people could help more effectively!

hi! grow lights are a good idea for lower lit areas!! my fav brand is Mother grow lights - while pricy, my experience so far has been amazing :)

some recs:
ZZ plant
snake plant
these guys are very succulant-like and need their soil to completely dry before watering again

pothos lean to the more tropical kind of plant and will like water when the pot is about half (or more) dry
good luck!

I was always told Zz don’t like low light and snake plants like full sky

they do best in higher light, but they can survive in lower light conditions - they just grow a lot slower!

Hi! I suggest researching tropical plants, but definitely add a grow light. You can find some great ones on Amazon or at a local gardening store. I have some calatheas, peperomias, nerve plants, and hypoestes that are in relatively low light w/ a grow light and they are doing very well. Although those plants tend to be a bit dramatic and needy, so keep that in mind lol
