# HELP. I was gifted a Dumb Cane that is in desperate need of…

HELP. I was gifted a Dumb Cane that is in desperate need of revamping. The tops are already cut off because they were o heavy and bending ready to snap. I think it may be totally cut down because of the lanky twisting and turning stems. Can anybody guide me with this it is 7 feet tall.

If you already took the top the bottom stalks will eventually start producing new growth, just make sure to cut back on watering!

The stalks can be cut into leafless/rootless segments and they'll grow new leaves. The root ball will also grow new leaves if you chop it down to just above the soil line
