# Would love to start a thread for everyone to share their favorite…

_Posted by Adrian on 2024-07-10_

Would love to start a thread for everyone to share their favorite names for plants. Feel free to share as many as you want! Just thought it’d be a fun thread to make for anyone stumped on coming up for a name. I’ll start! A few of my favorites for cacti include Spike, Pickles, Prickles, Terry, Fluffy, and Cuddles.

Another example: this is my Variegated Jade Plant, Valerie. Some other ones I’ve used include Penny, Julie, Lily and Molly (they’re twins), Wanda, Xochitl (Xochi, for short. I’m Raramuri and wanted to use a Nahuatl name in honor of the succulent being native to Mexico), Elena, Aslan, and Lucy.
