# Hey guys I need some help. I had this pothos for a couple of months…

Hey guys I need some help. I had this pothos for a couple of months now, this is how I bought it. I do change the water every 2 weeks or when I notice it’s brownish/yellowish, i have it on my window where it gets enough sunlight. I noticed it hasn’t really grown much. What can I do to get this girl to grow more fuller? Thanks in advance 😊🫶🏽

Have you been using any fertilizer? They unfortunately won’t grow much in just water bc there’s not very many nutrients. Unless you’re using fish tank water. I’m using the miracle gro liquid plant food just because it’s clear.

I tried some fertilizer in August but some of the leaves turned yellow so I stopped using it, do you use miracle gro indoor plant food or the all purpose ? Maybe I will try again due to the weather changing and not much sunlight like summer

This is the kind I use, I also dilute it pretty heavily. Probably 1/2-1 pump every other week for my largest hydro plant

For reference this is how big she is, I also don’t dump the water but because of the lighting it doesn’t grow much algae

Fertilizer for sure. I've had issues with the miracle gro I've use fox farm, superthrive or instant plant food for liquid

Seconding superthrive! but it doesn’t have any NPK so it needs to be used alongside something else!

You can also post this on the hydroponic group called “hydroponics \& semi-hydroponics”, for even more help on people who have a lot of experience with it.
