# So i have a few props in a cabinet that i have waited a lil to long…

So i have a few props in a cabinet that i have waited a lil to long to put on moss pole aka lime pothos and a few others. But I want to know if i clip the aerial root back so i can get it on the pole properly. Will the roots grow back and go into the pole or should I just leave the long wild aerial roots to find their way or just dry up.

Ps it’s not normally dark in that cabinet I turned the light off so there wasn’t glare.

Thank you I wasn’t sure I know with monstera you can but wasn’t sure if it was with all and didn’t want to stunt growth or kill a plant accidentally

I mean worse case, you can cut under a node, and start a little prop

lol I have so many props that’s why I want to combine a few on poles and make a lush huge plant instead of a million lil plants and I know they size up nicely on poles so I want to try

I don’t think the aerial roots easily grow back on pothos if you clip them off all the way. Closest I’ve seen is new roots sprouting out of an existing aerial root. I personally would leave them to find their way into the pole.
