# Hello! I just recently bought this Begonia from Steve’s Leave’s out…

_Publié par Stasia le 2024-06-28_

Hello! I just recently bought this Begonia from Steve’s Leave’s out in Dallas, TX. It is one of theirs that they bred in their nursery so I’m not too sure what mix of begonias it is. I was wondering if anyone knew what variety it could possibly be. Thank you guys so much for any ideas/input! The nursery calls this “cierge magique”

If that’s what they named it then that’s what it’s called. Steve’s Leaves has dozen of hybrids created by Don Miller. Since they hybridized it, their website would be the one to look at if they list that information.

It’s not their real scientific name and that guy said he doesn’t actually know what gets bred with what. They all sit together and so when they grow, the 2+ years later, he just gives them a cool name.

That’s odd…I watched a YouTube video where he was interviewed and he talks about how he hybridizes them, and that’s not what he described. He knows the parent plants most of the time. Sometimes one of the parent plants is a hybrid themselves so it’s hard to tell. I tried to research this cultivar but it seems like it’s a special one and unique to Steve’s leaves. I doubt anyone else would know more information than them
