Most of it is the shape of the leaves as to their blooming cycle. However, there’s also differences in colors of the blooms. They range in color from red, purple and pink, yellow and white, orange, white and pink. The blooming can start early when it’s under similar conditions to the season they usually bloom during or in conditions similar to what you do to prepare it for blooming, so not a bad sign, but if the whole plant blooms now, it might not have the energy to do it twice in one year. For example, the one at my great-aunt’s place is in a colder, darker area at night, so it’s gotten more of the conditions suitable for preparing it to bloom, which is likely what’s causing hers to bloom before mine, despite being the same type and blooming the same time last year.
