sometimes the vine from string of hearts needs more humidity for the vine to root in the dirt

Since it’s a succulent, it’s a desert plant and actually needs very little water and humidity

u can try to propagate it

you only could propagate it from the stem

You might want to put the strings in a small propagation box with moist sphagnum moss / perlite and a lid. Having it in an enclosed space increases the temperature and humidity for growing roots.

They have little humidity domes on Amazon.
