# Is my Diffenbachia getting too much light? It sits in the south…

Is my Diffenbachia getting too much light? It sits in the south facing corner of a room full of windows. It gets a bit of direct sunlight in the morning then bright indirect light the rest of the day. I noticed this morning that a couple of the leaves have grown big green patches seemingly overnight. It has been lightly dappled up to this point.

I wouldn’t worry. This looks like a healthy plant. She may have a few yellow leaves in the beginning while acclimating.

I think this is just normal patterning for this variety 🙂 mine has the same
