How big is the root ball? Depending on your root ball size it may or may not be.

But looking at it now, it seems a bit big.

Someone showed me their water garden after I accidentally bought 2 colocasias before I even knew how big they get 😭 they place their plants in a barrel or u can use any bucket really and just has water and stratum. And they used big rocks to stabilize them

Alocasias and colocasias tend to like a relatively tight pot. Generally for repotting, you'd want to upgrade by about 2 inches in diameter. If your root ball is fully filling that and looks a bit bound, you should be okay, but personally I'd try to find a size in between those two pots. If you use an oversized pot, the main issue will be water on the outside edges not getting used up, which can lead to root rot issues. Filling the bottom and side few inches with an airy/high drainage mix (or even gravel) can help prevent that issue. Also try to spread out the existing root ball to help fill in the extra space
