# I was just wondering when this app tells you to change the fertilizer…

I was just wondering when this app tells you to change the fertilizer sticks if you are supposed to water also because all it says is to change them but doesn’t say to water also

I bet it’s because its super unpredictable to tell when they need switched. I don’t have any answers for the digital side of things, but I really despise using fertilizer sticks. Sometimes your plant just really needs acidic water. I use a fertilizer soluble in water and its worked wonders for me.

I actually use the granulars for bonsai but it doesn’t give me that option for certain plants that I have, it only says sticks I should have said that to start with, I’m sorry

If you're only using the sticks, I don't think you necessarily have to water it at that time. Although that's a that good question.

If its for dry stick i don't believe so. At least I haven't had it do them in sync
