# So I decided to put my dwarf Alberta spruce that's in a 5-gallon…

So I decided to put my dwarf Alberta spruce that's in a 5-gallon bucket outside right now but it's like 48° F , I know they can tolerate a lot of cold but it's not used to it it's used to my 65° house LOL I also put it on the East side so it and acclimate for a few weeks before I put it in full sun, I feel like when I put it in full sun a few weeks ago when it was warm for a minute that it sort of fried it's needles, my husband's having a fit because he wants it in full sun in the front yard and my tripping can it go in full sun and also the app saying it's too cold outside should I bring it back in it's going to be in the thirties tonight?, x 😩🩵🌲

I can’t say much about the sun issue because in Texas more things fry than not, but as for the cold you could wrap the base in towels or blankets. I did this to plants I put out when an unexpected cold snap hit
