I am going on vacation for a week is it fine to just water all my plants and not water them all week?

It depends on the plant. What kinds do you have?

Begonia, peace lily’s , lucky bamboo, and succulents.

I would think all of those should be ok for a week. Do you water any of them regularly more frequently than once a week?

No except the peace lily’s I water those ones every 5 days.

Hmm I would think the peace lily’s will survive two days longer than usual. They may look dramatic and drop a few leaves in protest when you get back, but I hear they’re pretty resilient.

If having someone stop in once around day 5 isn’t an option, you could try moving them a little further away from their light sources. Less light, less water consumption. Kind of like a week of cloudy weather, it won’t kill them but they also won’t drink as much so they shouldn’t dry out while you’re gone.

It depends on the plants but they should be fine

I read a damp to wet towel under them gives them a smidge more moisture when times are dire. Like a wet towel in the sink with plants sitting on top. Never tried it myself though.

Thanks for all the suggestions!
