# I recently got these beautiful arrowhead pants at Lowes. They were…

_Publicado por Stephanie el 2026-03-14_

I recently got these beautiful arrowhead pants at Lowes. They were both in the dark brown pot and were on clearance cause one had a few brown leave and was looking sad. I put it in a room were my new plants stay and get a little treatment (just in case). Today I was checking to see if they needed to be watered and they were still very wet so I decided to take them out of the pot and I'm glad I did Cause the soil was so wet and it would of started root rot but fortunately I got them out in time. My question is I just put them in dry soil how long should I wait to water them? They have very good roots (I cleaned and sprayed them with peroxide) so I decided to separate them and have 2 just in case a friend wants a start. Thanks for any help

I’m sorta new to this part of it all but i’d say a day! If they sit dry for too long i’m pretty sure it increases the chances of transplant shock, but it’s also good to give them time to try out!

Thanks. I definitely don't want them to die from shock either. I love the color they have and I got them for $7 on clearance so I won't lose much but I really don't want to loose them
