I’m trying to get my pearl and jade pothos to climb, what’s the best type of moss pole?

A pole with sphagnum moss is more attractive to the aerial roots as they will grow into the moss compared to a coconut husk pole. A small wide wooden post or plank makes a good climbing structure. The photo shows my Syngonium Angustatum aerial roots growing on my old hot tub.

they’ll grow up literally anything including your wall if you use something to hold it there for a while but i don’t recommend the paint damage lol. i made my own moss poles using long fibered sphagnum moss and chicken wire i make it roughly the diameter of a tennis ball (little smaller). keep it moist bc they can go hydrophobic but my pothos’s all currently just hang or creep up the corners of my room and window
