I want to put coffee grounds in my dwarf Alberta spruces soil as a fertilizer, but my husband went and bought espresso coffee grounds is that a problem? 🤦‍♀️🥴

I don't know about the coffee grounds but how long have you had this indoors? It's usually a little rough keeping an evergreen indoors because they need the cool season and more light.

Well I've had it since Christmas couldn't bring myself to buy a chopped down tree I wanted one I could keep forever, but I live in Indiana and on the warm days I put it outside but I think I scorched it s needles by sticking it in the direct sound immediately so that's why I'm thinking I really want to give it some coffee grounds, I do definitely plan on putting it outside now once it warms up more, I do have it in a Southern window for now

I have an Alberta here in Iowa. It is on the Southside of the house. Seems to be doing fine but is growing very slowly.

Nope just put the grounds in water and dilute them

Honestly make it just strong enough to be tea color. Less is more with fertilizer and additives

I put a “puck” of used espresso in a gallon and mix the heck out of it. 🤗

It's been in the 30s n 40s during the day and in the 20s at night I just put it in a gallon bucket bc it's leaves started to get tight 😩🤦‍♀️ it's looking better I think the pot was too small .. are these temps ok? I love my little Christmas tree
