# Today I went to the US Botanic Garden for the first time since before…

Today I went to the US Botanic Garden for the first time since before I was a houseplant hobbyist. I just have to comment that it is a completely different experience going to a botanical garden with more knowledge about plants in general, e.g., climates, binomial nomenclature, etc. It even gave me ideas for more plants and showed me what some of my succulents might look like in 50 years. Unfortunately we were not able to see the corpse flower unfurled. Maybe next time 😊

That’s soo cool! I’ve heard they smell awful which just makes me want to smell them! Lol
