I’m looking to get into owning plants/gardening! I’d like to start off with beginner plants; any recommendations?

If you think you’d have a tendency to forget watering:  
Pothos, Scindapsus, ZZ plant, and snake plants

If you think you’d overwater:  
Begonias and ferns

But also depends on your climate in your house, need nice humidity for ferns
